Tour History

Twilight Force is a symphonic power metal band, from Falun/Borlänge Sweden, formed in 2011. The band's main lyrical themes are based on fantasy stories. Their first studio album, Tales of Ancient Prophecies, was released in 2014 by Black Lodge Records. The band members want to keep their real names private, so they use nicknames. The band's second album, Heroes of Mighty Magic, was released in 2016.

The foundation for what is now Twilight Force was laid out in 2011, with a quest to bring back the golden age of epic symphonic power metal. By combining strong melodies with orchestral arrangements and fast tempos, Twilight Force wanted to create an intense and memorable listening experience; immersing the audience in a magic universe filled with wonder, heroic tales and mesmerizing mythical worlds.
Using their vast experience from previous musical endeavours, their classical training and technical proficiency, they started working intensely and meticulously in their studio in the heart of Sweden, the Twilight Forge. The music took shape and grew
from the depths of their hearts, and the basis of the songs swiftly came into existence. Hence, the first ever adventure metal album, Tales of Ancient Prophecies saw the light of day in 2014.
In the wake of their successful first release, and two glorious tours across Europe with
Sonata Arctica and Gloryhammer, Twilight Force have returned to the Forge to craft their second opus. The conquest has merely begun.

The band was formed in 2011 by Lynd and Blackwald. After Chrileon, Aerendir, Born and De'Azsh joined the band they started on their debut album recording, Tales of Ancient Prophecies, which was released in 2014 by Black Lodge Records. This album hit 29th position in Swedish charts. In December 2014 Twilight Force joined Gloryhammer on their European tour. In spring 2015, they toured with two other power metal bands, Sonata Arctica  and Freedom Call.

In February 2016 the band announced they signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Records. On August 26 they released their label debut called Heroes of Mighty Magic with Joakim Brodén (Sabaton) and Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of FireRhapsody Reunion, Angra, Vision Divine, Turilli/Lione Rhapsody) as guest vocalists. They also played at Sabaton Open Air 2016, where they recorded the whole show for a live DVD. In the autumn of 2016 Twilight Force joined Sonata Arctica on their European tour and they also joined Sabaton and Accept in early 2017 on The Last Tour. On September 7, 2017, they are scheduled to play at ProgPower XVIII in the US. In early October 2017, it was announced the singer Chrileon had left the band. He was temporarily replaced by multi-instrumentalist, Tommy Johansson(from Sabaton and ReinXeed) during their tour as a special guest of DragonForce in October and November 2017.

Alessandro Conti (Allyon) (Luca Turilli´s RhapsodyTrick or TreatLione/Conti) was announced as the new vocalist in June 2018.

On May 23, 2019, the band revealed the title and album art for their third album, Dawn of the Dragonstar, which was released on August 16, 2019.         The album is the first to feature Allyon on vocals.

On November 5, 2019, the band announced that drummer Daniel Sjögren had departed the band. Sjögren clarified that his decision to leave the band was amicable. He was immediately replaced by Isak Olsson, also from Falun.
